About me
My interest and fascination with hooves grew exponentially when I bought my first horse. A retired pace horse or trotter called SJ's Night. On the whole he seemed quite symetric in every way, except for his hooves. He had 4 different hooves which puzzled me. Was this normal? Turns out YES! Just like every horse.
The more I learned and researched, the deeper my intrigue became with the hoof’s intricate structure, function, and the importance of natural hoof care. I learned each hoof has its own unique quality, and learning how to care for them properly is so important for a horse’s overall health and well-being.
Soon after, I began my training as a hoof care professional where I continue to learn and keep up to date with all things hoof. My passion for horses and hooves continues to grow, and now I have two hoofed companions keeping me on my toes!
